Are snowboarders allowed on speed tracks?
Do they have the right equipment?
Thanks!

Some races are able to accommodate snowboards, but not many.
There was, I believe, one snowboarder in the Speed Master race at Verbier last week. : http://www.xspeedski.net/

World record is 201.907 kph - Darren Powell from Australia

Normally it's impossible in FIS race (World Championship, World Cup, races limited upto 200 Km/h)
You can participate in "Pro races" (no speed limit). FSV ( www.kl-France.com ) and FSSV ( www.swiss-kl.com ) organize these race.

You need a valid licence to participate. you can take this licence with FSV or FSSV. (it's not FIS's licence).
Speak with organisation (FSV /FSSV) before the race (for licence, inscription, rules, etc.).
